FARMING
After the immersive and much-loved progressive concert last fall, Walking the Farm, The Crossing, Philadelphia’s Grammy-award winning choir conducted by Donald Nally, returns to Kings Oaks this month to perform
FARMING, a world premiere by Ted Hearne
for 24 singers, electric guitars, keyboards, percussion, and large, cultivated field
with Rohan Chander, Viva DeConcini, John Grecia, Taylor Levine, Clara Warnaar, and Ron Wiltrout
Directed by Ashley Tata
Design by Nia Easley, Pablo Santiago, Carolina Ortiz, Rebecca Kanach and Paul Vasquez
7:30pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 22, 23, 24, and 25, 2023
Please note: there will be no walk-up tickets available at the concert. All tickets must be purchased in advance.
We suggest casual, comfortable clothes, layers, and hiking shoes for this event; the performance site is a short walk from parking, across mowed grasses. Seating will be on wooden benches and similar surfaces.
(Please contact shannon@crossingchoir.org for special circumstances requiring onsite shuttling.)
FARMING is supported by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage
