James Stewart studied at Thiel College and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.  He has shown his work in New York as well as in Philadelphia.  Since 1997, he has had five solo exhibitions at Gallery 71. Stewart lives in Fredonia, Pennsylvania.
