Throughout the exhibition, the barn and chapel galleries’ specific, regional architecture was celebrated, challenged, and reawakened by pieces that interacted with and pushed up against what we may expect of each space. A cohesive experience punctuated by moments of discovery, the installation invited close looking and an appreciation of details in both the art and its surroundings.
-Louise Feder, Arts News Now

“My time at Kings Oaks was so full. It was a memorable experience and I will absolutely be frequenting that space more for whatever shows or events they put on. I was welcomed by the art, and left inspired.”

Art at Kings Oaks 2018

“Art at Kings Oaks, an annual exhibition presented by Alex Cohen and Clara Weishahn on Cohen’s family farm, is an opportunity to visit a particularly bucolic part of Bucks County and see a big group show — with 26 artists — in a fastidiously restored 19th-century barn. It’s worth the drive.”
-Edith Newhall, The Philadelphia Inquirer

“We select work we love from artists whom we admire and want to work with,” said Bucks County painter Alex Cohen, who, along with nearby artists, first put on a small group show at Kings Oaks in 2012. “We care for the artwork as if it were our own and present it in spaces that feel welcoming and non-commercial.”
