Born in Oakland, California, Tali Burry-Schnepp moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts where she received her BFA in 2023. She is a printmaker, painter and self taught weaver and is prone to pick up other art forms as the opportunity presents itself. Interaction with the birds, plants and other characters in the landscape are important to her as subject and for material usage. She works with contemporary paints and pigments as well as natural fibers and dyes, moving between working directly in the landscape and in the seclusion of her studio.
