A Progressive Concert conducted by Donald Nally

September 17-18, 2022

Based on the “progressive dinner” model, audiences traveled through five stations around Kings Oaks: the barn, the creek, the chapel, the field, the garden. At each, we enjoyed locally sourced bites, local beers and wines, and a choral work inspired by land and our relationship to it. A new work from George Lewis was joined by previous commissions of Kirsten Broberg and David Shapiro and a thoughtful setting of a Czeslaw Milosz poem by Latvian Peteris Vasks. “Walking the Farm” was presented in conjunction with Art at Kings Oaks 2022.
