The crystalline voices of Trio Mediæval have captivated audiences since the group was founded in Oslo in 1997. The Grammy-nominated trio’s core repertoire features sacred monophonic and polyphonic medieval music from England, Italy and France; contemporary works written for the ensemble; and traditional Norwegian, Swedish and Icelandic ballads and songs.

Trio Mediæval performed a selection of early music, Scandinavian folk songs, and contemporary compositions in the chapel at Kings Oaks on April 12, 2023. They also filmed a video with Four/Ten Media for ‘I want to live’ by David Lang in the barn at Kings Oaks during they stay.
